2024 fall formal recruitment will take place from September 27-29 & October 5-6. The schedule is as follows:
Sep. 27-28: Panhellenic Day
Sep. 29: Sisterhood Day
October 5: Philanthropy Day
October 6: Preference Day
October 7: Bid Night
Please refer to Cal Poly Panhellenic's website for more information regarding the recruitment process and how to register.

Our chapter is so excited to meet all potential new members (PNMs) throughout the recruitment process and cannot wait to welcome a new member class this year! Involvement in fraternity/sorority life provides students with a wide variety of opportunities to develop leadership skills, achieve academically, and increase involvement in the community through various service and fundraising activities. Additionally, fraternity/sorority membership can help make the transition to college smoother and more enjoyable for students by providing a support system found through the camaraderie of the fraternity/sorority community.

No, they are not required.

Browse our lookbook and Panhellenic's lookbook for outfit inspiration!

How long is each round?
The first days, each party is around 25 minutes. The length of the parties will become longer with each day, ending with Preference Day having one-hour rounds.

What should I bring with me during recruitment?
The days can get very long, so we suggest bringing snacks and lots of water along to stay hydrated! Some other things that might come in handy:
•Gum/mints
•Chapstick/lipwear
•Portable phone charger
•Jacket/sweater for the evening
There will be lots of walking during some days, so many choose to bring a change of shoes as well!

A Note About Legacies
A legacy is defined as a daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, or sister of a Kappa Alpha Theta member. Kappa Alpha Theta has eliminated all preferential treatment of legacies during the recruitment process. By eliminating preferential treatment, we ensure that PNMs are not receiving additional credit for things beyond their control.
